East Staffordshire Family Support Service (Harvey Girls & Dads4Dads) require an
OPERATIONS MANAGER – 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £29,550.40 plus pension
East Staffordshire Family Support Service incorporating Harvey Girls and Dads4Dads is seen as the leading provider for family support within East Staffordshire, especially for young parents. As part of our ongoing development this exciting opportunity has arisen to further expand and strengthen our team.
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will have the prime responsibility for the management of our projects and our team, including volunteers, and the delivery of a range of support programmes to local families.
We need a highly motivated individual with experience of working with young people, families and children in a friendly, supportive and tolerant approach. Applicants should have passion and drive to provide family support along with experience in operational management.
The Operations Manager will need to liaise closely with statutory and voluntary organisations, ensuring that the Charity exceeds the expectations of its funders and commissioners.
We are looking for applicants who have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, together with strong leadership and the drive to make things happen.

The role will include:
- Providing Support to the Chief Executive Officer
- Management of the Charity’s projects
- Overseeing the operational systems and processes including safeguarding
- Managing a caseload and have excellent reporting skills
- Line Management and supervision of our Outreach and Session Facilitators
- Management of budgets
- Recruitment, development and line management of volunteers
The hours of work are 37 ½ hours a week based in Burton and across East Staffordshire. Some flexible working will be required to include some evening and weekend work, where necessary. Applicants must have use of their own car at all times, for which expenses are paid. Disclosure and Barring Service check (Enhanced Level) and references will be required.
