We now have an active volunteer team of 12 volunteers who help our staff team to support young parents in East Staffordshire. We hold group sessions each week and the volunteers prepare a hot and healthy meal for the young parents and their children and ensure that all families are happy and comfortable in our sessions. They also help the young parents to engage with the activities educational and support the children to engage in their play activity. They support the organisation to run trips for the families and offer a listening ear to the parents, they give their assistance to the parents with their interaction with their children and help with organisational fundraising.”
