We would like to thank our NHS! They are doing a tremendous job in these uncertain times and need all our support!
A message from Ian North, CEO of East Staffordshire Family Support Service, Harvey Girls and Dads4Dads
Over the last few weeks we have found ourselves in unprecedented and challenging times.
We have needed to radically change our working practises whilst still providing valuable and effective support for our families.
This would not have been possible without the understanding and commitment of our staff team you, our Partners and Commissioners for which we can only say –THANK YOU!
I am delighted to say that we have been able to amend our working processes quickly, ensuring that the quality and reliability of our support for our families has been, and continues to be, maintained during these testing times.
I would especially like to thank all the Key Workers who, whilst working from home, continue to support everyone within our community by going the extra mile.
Here at East Staffordshire Family Support Service, we are particularly grateful to Staffordshire County Council for confirming our funding for this period of Covid 19 and for the coming year.
We are extremely fortunate to have Natasha and Becky as our Commissioners, two individuals who both really understand the needs of our families. Having a ‘one team’ approach is of paramount importance in enabling us to continue our great work for the general good and the families of East Staffordshire – thank you.
Our partnership working with local schools continues to be invaluable and we are very appreciative of the work being undertaken within the school environment. We are proud to have you all as our Key Partners in Family Support.
The need for our service is increasing and we will always be here for the families we support.
During this period of uncertainty, it is already evident that the nature and benefit of our support could mean the difference between families coping with the additional pressures caused by ‘lockdown’, or the family falling apart completely.
Our team at East Staffordshire Family Support Service are here to listen and support you all.
